Following in the footsteps of classic bluesmen and songwriters before him, Matthew Armitage has carved his own style. His nylon acoustic guitar sounds like a South Pacific blues band, his foot stomp is a modified cajon drum with a 60’s tambourine and his voice is steeped in the blues tradition. Playing a massive mix of covers and originals so good you'll think are covers of great songs, Matt hits the mark for any crowd. Possessing an ability to hold listeners in the palm of his hand while he chugs out purely entertaining and foot tapping rhythms.
